How to setup your email account in Outlook Express

1Open up your e-mail program Outlook Express and click onTools > Accounts ![]() |
2Click the Mail tab then click on Add > Mail...![]() |
3Enter your name or the name of your business![]() |
4Enter the e-mail address that has been set up for you on your website. Please make sure it is spelt correctly and in lower case.If you are unsure what your e-mail address is, please call 07743 899121 ![]() |
5In the first box enter mail.hammick.co.ukin the second box, this should be the mail server address of your ISP (or person you use to connect to the internet e.g. BT Internet, Freeserve, AOL etc.) if this is freeserve it would be smtp.freeserve.co.uk if you're not sure please call 07743 899121. ![]() |
6Make sure you enter these details correctly ensuring that the spelling is correct and that it is all in lower case.if you're not sure please call 07743 899121. ![]() |
7OK - that's pretty much it just a couple of adjustments to make and then you're done.![]() |
8You should have this screen in front of you now. Highlight the mail.hammick.co.uk account and then click on properties.![]() |
